Gymrat Jerky started with a Queensland lifter who wanted a better protein snack for the road. The idea was simple: make beef jerky with ingredients he'd actually want to eat.
After experimenting at home and working with a local factory, Gymrat Jerky was born. That same idea still sits at the centre of Mithras Nutrition: make whole-food protein easy, convenient and enjoyable.

What are the ingredients in Gymrat Jerky?

Does Gymrat Jerky contain artificial preservatives?
No. Gymrat Jerky is made without artificial preservatives. We also leave out added sugar, soy and seed oils.
Where does the protein come from?
The protein comes from the beef itself. We dry the meat to remove water, making it a concentrated whole-food protein snack. We don't add protein powders or fillers.
How much protein is in a bag?
An 80g bag of Smoky BBQ contains 45.2g of protein, or 22.6g per 40g serving. For other flavours, refer to their individual nutrition panels.
Is natural beef jerky completely unprocessed?
